PHPS Fund

Contributions to the PHPS Fund directly and immediately benefit each and every member of the student community. The donations contributed to the PHPS Fund are unrestricted and critical to our operating budget each year. For these reasons, the PHPS Fund is always the school’s first fundraising priority. The PHPS Fund bridges the $1,200 gap between what tuition covers and our actual expenses. These tax-deductible gifts help us maintain levels of excellence for our students and faculty in the areas of academics, athletics, technology, and enrichment programs. Contributions to the PHPS Fund have allowed Preston Hollow to fund the following:

  • Technology updates and acquisitions
  • Drama program through the Dallas Children’s Theater
  • Accelerated Reader programs, books, software, and AR store
  • Orff instruments for music
  • Outdoor learning center and nature pond
  • Teacher Allotments ($300 for each classroom teacher to use for classroom enhancements)
  • Professional development seminars for teachers

All gifts are appreciated, and we hope you will support the PHPS Fund. For more information, please contact Julie Bonahoom at jbonahoom@phps.org or 214.368.3886 ext. 162

Naming opportunities are available for those interested in establishing an endowed fund to honor or memorialize a student-faculty member, or family member. The PHPS Faculty Salary Endowment Fund was established by Philip R. Jonsson in honor of his two grandsons who attended the school. Income from this fund is used to help ensure that we can employ and retain the best teachers available to provide the best educational experience for our students.

The Sheila Phaneuf Scholarship Fund was established by the Parents’ Association of our school in honor of Sheila Phaneuf's 25th Anniversary as Director. Mrs. Phaneuf was a beloved director of PHPS for 40 years.  Income from this fund is contributed to the school’s commitment to providing scholarship assistance to students in need.

The Mitzi Sosebee Scholarship Fund was established in memory of a long-time supporter, board member, and board president of the school. Income from this fund is contributed to the school’s commitment to providing scholarship assistance to students in need.
