Vision Statement for use of Technology at PHPS:
At PHPS we are dedicated to providing the right tools to fully support our student’s learning needs. Purposefully integrated technology equips our students with assistive learning tools that ensure educational success.
Instructional Technology
- Specialized instruction aligns with the classroom curriculum
- K-6th grade students are taught computer software skills; multi-media programs; internet research; safe and productive internet use
- Google Classroom is used in all grades as a schoolwide learning management system
- All grades are also introduced to Coding, Game Design, and Robotics
- Touch-typing instruction begins in 1st grade
- Devices used in the classroom include:
- K-2nd Grade: iPads
- 3rd-6th Grade: Chromebooks
- Interactive Smart Boards in every classroom
